XII International Symposium on Equine Reproduction - Cambridge 2018

Dates: dimanche 22 juillet 2018 00:00 - vendredi 27 juillet 2018 00:00

Reproduction in the horse boasts many unique features that have intrigued and interested scientists and equine veterinary practitioners for many years. The desire to discuss and advance knowledge on the subject led to the First International Symposium on Equine Reproduction, held at Kings College, Cambridge in July, 1974. It was a resounding success, both scientifically and socially, and it spawned an on-going series of such meetings held in various countries around the world every 4 years.

These get togethers have continued to act both as a stimulus for new scientific investigations and as the forum where scientists and veterinary practitioners engaged in the theory and practicalities of breeding horses efficiently can keep up to date with the latest research and kindle further research endeavours. More than anything else the 11 previous ISER meetings have stimulated the development and practical application of many of the present day diagnostic and therapeutic techniques which have revolutionised horse breeding worldwide.
